Recipe: Balsamic Vinegar Salmon: The best salmon recipe for any night .

Summary: The glaze is so simple to make and add a wonderful flavor to the salmon.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz. each) fresh salmon fillets
  • 5 oz. butter
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onions
  • 1 cup good quality balsamic vinegar
  •  salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper. Grill for 3 minutes on each side until done. Meanwhile, melt 2 oz. of the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and cook for 3 minutes. Add the vinegar and cook until reduced by two-thirds. Cut remaining butter and add gradually to the sauce, stirring until completely melted. Place salmon on plates and serve with the sauce.
