Low Carb No Hassle!

BLACK BEANS WITH RICE

Recipe: BLACK BEANS WITH RICE

Ingredients

  • 2 cans black beans
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  •  1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon chili
  • 1 tablespoon tobasco sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a pot heat the oil.Cook the onions for 5 minutes. Add the garlic, cumin,coriander and the chili and cook for 1 minute. Add the beans with 1/2 of their liquid. Add the salt ,the pepper,,tomato paste and the water. Cook for about 30 minutes on low heat. Serve on top of white cooked rice.
