Meet Newbie #2

Hi, I’m Cresta Lewis, the other newbie. I too am thrilled to be contributing to wine-girl.net.

I am a fairly new wine enthusiast. Over the last few years I’ve been introduced to a variety of wines through friends, as well as during visits to wineries and at local wine tastings. Last year my husband and I joined a wine club and now receive three different bottles of wine each quarter from places such as Argentina, Chile, France, New Zealand, Spain and the United States. I have discovered some incredible selections that are often from smaller wineries that can be hard to find.

I am a beer girl too. Lately I’ve been smitten with Belgian wheats and whites and Urban wheats.

I was born and raised in Northern Kentucky and have never left. I do love this area. Out of college I thought I wanted to be a TV News Anchor. However, I landed at a newspaper as a Calendar Coordinator and Features Writer. Then I crossed over to the dark side and became a Public Relations Specialist.

I have been practicing PR at a couple of different agencies for more than 12 years. I recently took the plunge and went out on my own doing PR/Communications Consulting. I thoroughly enjoy what I do and I believe Greater Cincinnati is a great place to work in this industry. I am fortunate to have worked with a lot of fantastic clients!

I live in Erlanger with my husband and two children.
